The PBKACA Film Group returns with the spectacular sci-fi epic "Blade Runner 2049" by director Denis Villeneuve ("Sicario"), which serves as a sequel to 1982's groundbreaking film by Ridley Scott, although it stands tall on its own. Featuring the incredible cast of Ryan Gosling ("The Nice Guys," "La La Land") and Harrison Ford ("Star Wars," "Raiders of the Lost Ark"), if you see one movie this year, make it this one.

As usual, we'll have a brief group discussion after the film, delving into a few lightweight topics, such as the meaning of life, the nature of humanity, slavery, and pre-apocalyptic nostalgia.

Due to the length of this movie (2 3/4 hours), we will have a Saturday afternoon screening rather than our typical weeknight one. Afternoon, time TBD (meet next to box office beforehand for introductions, ticket purchase, etc.)
