Join PBKACA for the world premiere of "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight: A Rock 'N' Roll Musical". The musical spins the medieval legend of Sir Gawain, a knight of King Arthur's Round Table, and the heroic challenge he accepts on behalf of his king. Brought to anachronistic life with music by Foreigner, Steve Winwood, Scorpions and more, "Sir Gawain..." explores the themes of honor, temptation, and sticking to your own moral code.
The musical is brought to you by Pearl Poet Productions which was started by PBKACA President, John Ashton. King Arthur is played by Chicago key holder Noah Berman.
Performances run December 1st-17th, 2017; Thursdays-Saturdays at 8:00pm and Saturdays (12/9 and 12/16 only) & Sundays at 3:00pm on the East Stage of the Raven Theatre Complex.
*PBKACA will attend as a group on Thursday, December 7th with a special pre-show talkback with the cast / crew. This should take place roughly 30 mins before the show, but further details will be announced.
