Spring cleaning have you down? Join us for a moment of catharsis as Lady Macbeth tries to remove some spots of her own. PBKACA will be heading over to Navy Pier Sunday, May 27, to see Shakespeare's Macbeth! This performance at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater is directed by Teller (of Penn & Teller fame) and Aaron Posner, who recently collaborated on a remarkable presentation of Shakespeare's The Tempest.

Join us for a pre-show talk on the Scottish Play and all its haunted stage history led by our very own Shakespearean scholar, Katy Reedy, at 5:00 PM at Tiny Tavern, located near the CST at Navy Pier (600 E Grand Ave, Chicago, IL 60611). A professor of early modern literature at Lake Forest College, Katy has edited the newest editions of Hamlet and Richard III for the Norton Shakespeare, studying under Stephen Greenblatt about all things plaguey, poisonous, and revengeful in Shakespeare. Tickets may be purchased for $45.00 (reduced rate) via PayPal on PBKACA's website.
